When Pete Millet distilled his original hybrid tube headphone amp into the elegant ‘Starving Student’ circuit we were so impressed with the results we decided to make this amp available to those unable to build it themselves. We believe the result is one of the best value tube amps on the market.

Don’t let its small footprint fool you; this amp has some serious class A power. The Mini Millet will drive demanding headphones like the AKG k701s with ease. However, we also wanted to be able to drive sensitive headphones like IEMs or Grados, so we’ve implemented a gain switch to allow for greater flexibility.

Our goal was to bring the very best out of Pete’s design and so we’ve used high quality components throughout, making all connections point to point with 22 awg silver plated copper wiring.

The Mini Millet features a miniplug (3.5mm) input as well as standard RCA jacks to allow you to connect multiple sources without adapter cables.

-Power / THD at listening levels: You get 31mW into 32 ohms at 0.39% THD and 10mW into 100 ohms at 0.39% THD.
