Architecture: The Equinox HD650 Noir incorporates a highly modified version of the original Sennheiser spade connector. The Sennheiser spade connectors are significantly enhanced sonically in the tradition of the Stefan AudioArt's highly refined capsule design. The SAA spade capsule is a proprietary design which functions to strengthen the area of connection, dampen cable noise and enhances the audio signal. It undergoes several non-conductive material treatment procedures which have been modified over time and is an intrinsic part of the highly acclaimed Equinox performance.

Construction: 4-conductor quad-braid field geometry cable consisting of linear induced isolation constructed ultra pure copper enclosed with a Teflon/Oxygen dielectric finished in minimum absorption Techflex. The Equinox headphone cable incorporates proprietary contact enhanced professional connectors with either 3.5-mm or ¼” configuration. The Equinox cable is assembled with a special handcrafted process which has been refined over many years to meet the state of the art audiophile standard.

Incorporating the original locking Sennheiser spade connectors into the Equinox cable design, insures the best possible interface (both mechanical and electrical) with your Sennheiser headphones.
